The Challenge
The plastic crisis is an infrastructure integration challenge.
Globally, less than 10% of plastic waste is effectively recycled. The rest ends up in landfills, waterways and the environment — where it can take hundreds of years to break down.
Yet most plastics are derived from petroleum and carry significant embedded energy. Burning it wastes that value. Burying it wastes it forever.
